Island of Korcula belongs to South Dalmatia, covers
the area of
279 km2 with its highest peak Klupca (568 m),
close to Pupnat on the road between Korcula and Vela Luka.
The valleys of Lumbarda and Blato are the most interesting
in regard with the agriculture on
the island.
Population around 15.000.
Island of Korcula is located in the
south-east
part of Dalmatia, 35 nm fromDubrovnikand 56 nm
from Split. You canreach Korcula from Dubrovnikor
Split by ferry, bus or by catamaran.
